An Upcoming Book???

I came across a post once [either on Instagram or Pinterest, I do not remember], where the guy talked about how one should put all their deleted/removed/rejected/unused writings or parts of writings/phrases into a document rather than losing them completely. He called it "compost" something? And that’s stuck in my mind. I have one such document in my notes. It’s where I dump all my ideas that I end up retracting, not using, or hiding from the public. The document is a bit too long, with notes and comments in it too. Every time I visit it, it’s a trip down memory lane—like the past engulfing my soul, pulling me into forgotten moments, as if I’m reliving every step of my thought process. It is deafeningly overwhelming.

So, I’ve decided to work on this as a book. I have a few names in mind for it, but I haven’t nailed it down to one yet. I do have a cover decided, though. Let’s see. I will keep posting my ideas/progress here in order to capture the journey. If I fail, I fail with a record of my trial and failure.

Peek-a-boo Zine: Book Incoming?
01:45AM, April 7, 2025

Hi. No, this isn’t about the book I mentioned above. I have another idea for a book. It was inspired by the poem I wrote, "scream is my father tongue." Even after finishing and posting it, I kept pursuing the idea—it wouldn’t let go. Now, I’m planning to write a full-blown book based on it.

As of now, the book will be a mix of prose poetry, long-form monologue, and literary performance text. That said, I’m not bound to any particular structure.

I also made a zine to showcase the idea visually. However, I’m horrible at design, alignment, aesthetics—basically everything that goes into making something visually appealing. So, bear with me?

Would you read something like this?

So, the zine is ready. I used Canva. I am trying to set up shop in Buy Me a Coffee. It is a bit complicated and there are some barriers, but I am working on it.
